  • WheelstoMeals -- June 7, 2008 Four bike ride options of 20, 40, 50 and 70 miles through the scenic Puyallup Valley. This is the third annual fund-raiser for the Food Connection in Pierce County. The longer ride is a good warmup for the STP.
  • Fort2Fort Bike Ride -- June 8, 2008 Three rides of 17, 35, or 62 miles are featured between Fort Worden, Old Fort Townsend or Fort Flagler. Starts in Port Townsend.
  • Flying Wheels -- June 14, 2008 Several cycling options, including century (considered tune-up for STP in July); leave from Redmond.
  • Chelan Century -- June 14, 2008 Vineyards, orchards, glacial lakes and mountain terrain greet riders on this 4-year-old ride. Routed by founder of California's Markleeville Death Ride. Three segments.
  • Group Health Challenge - Goldendale -- June 14, 2008 Three options greet cyclists to this bike ride that loops around southern Washington, south of Yakima. Three options -- 34, 75 and 100 miles; the longer rides include lots of climbs.
  • Tour de Blast -- June 21, 2008 Bicycle ride through blast zone of Mount St. Helens; 33, 67, or 82 mile options.
  • Tour de Pierce -- June 29, 2008 Three cycling loops -- 12, 30 and 50 miles -- from fairgrounds in Puyallup.
  • Cascade 1200 -- June 28 - July 1, 2008 This highlight of North American Randonneuring routes cyclists completely around the Cascade Range, starting in Monroe northeast of Seattle, south to the Columbia River, north along the eastern foothills, and across Highway 20 at Washington and Rainy passes.
