- Tour de Whatcom -- August 2, 2008 Three mileage options for this bike ride -- 25, 50 and 105 miles. Starts in Bellingham and tours rivers and lakes while in sight of snow-capped Mount Baker. Fund-raiser for Boys and Girls Clubs of Whatcom County.
- Get Your Guts in Gear -- August 1-3, 2008 This 210-mile charity bike ride benefits the programs of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. It begins in Edmonds, traces Whidbey Island, crosses back to the mainland at Deception Pass and explores the Skagit Valley.
- RAW -- August 2-9, 2008 Ride Around Washington; fully supported bicycle tour; 70-75 miles per day.
- Courage Classic -- August 2-4, 2008 3 days, 3 passes, 172 miles; Snoqualmie to Skykomish; fund-raiser for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital
- Tour de Fat -- August, 11, 2007 The New Belgium Brewing Co.'s bike event comes to Seattle at 35th and Phinney in Fremont neighborhood. Performances by March Fourth Marching Band, The Yard Dogs Road Show, Circus Contraption, The Reals, The Sprockettes. Benefits the Bicycle Alliance of Washington and Bike Works.

- RAPSody -- August 23-24, 2008 Ride Around Puget Sound; 165 mile fund-raiser for Bicycle Alliance of Washington; begins in Tacoma
- Black Diamond Ride to Cure Diabetes -- August 30, 2008 A bike ride to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation begins in Black Diamond for rides of 14, 25, 65 and 100 miles. The longer routes include visits to Enumclaw and the Maple Valley loop, and the century includes a climb to Mud Mountain Park.
